Jase Sofo – Elite Prospects
In 2019, Jase Sofo followed in his older brother's footsteps as he prepared for an NCAA opportunity. After successful seasons with Honeybaked and Belle Tire, Sofo is now playing in the NAHL after being drafted in the NCDC. Jase has made an NCAA D-1 commitment for the 2023-2024 season with the St. Thomas Tommies.
Yegor Afanasyev - Elite Prospects
In 2018, Yegor Afanasyev completed his first year in the USHL with the Muskegon Lumberjacks. During the Pre-Draft Combine, Yegor showcased his skills in front of NHL and OHL scouts. A year later, he was drafted by the Nashville Predators and made his OHL debut. In 2023, Yegor made his NHL debut, appearing in seventeen games.
Dylan Schuett – Elite Prospects
In 2016, Dylan Schuett completed a successful U16 point-per-game season at Edge Academy and attended his first showcase. Seeking increased scouting exposure, Schuett achieved just that. After his U18 season in 2017, he returned to the showcase and caught the eye of several scouts. Following a single EHL season during which he was named Rookie of the Year, Schuett was drafted in the first round, sixth overall, in the NAHL draft by a team that had monitored his performance at the showcase for two consecutive years.
Matthew Rempe – Elite Prospects
In 2017, Matt Rempe concluded his U16 season at Okanagan Academy, striving to progress to junior hockey. His participation in the showcase caught the attention of numerous scouts, including three from the NHL that season. Following a triumphant season in the AJHL, Rempe continued to excel in the WHL and eventually became a sixth-round NHL draft pick by the New York Rangers.
Sean Montgomery – Elite Prospects
In 2013, Sean Montgomery had already been drafted into the WHL. Seeking to enhance his opportunities and negotiating power, Montgomery attended the showcase. The day after its conclusion, he was drafted into the USHL, which increased his negotiating power within the WHL. Montgomery went on to have an impressive WHL career, resulting in a championship. He is now playing in Canadian University.
Christian Gorscak – Elite Prospects
Christian Gorscack participated in the showcase events in 2016 and 2017 following impressive seasons with the Esmark Stars. As an elite-level player at both events, Gorscack caught the attention of numerous scouts. He proceeded to excel in the NAHL, winning the MVP award in 2020. Currently, Gorscack is a sophomore at Niagara University.
Jake Willets – Elite Prospects
After a successful season with Belle Tire, Willets went on to the showcase and then to Fairbanks in the NAHL. Drafted twice in the USHL, Willets is now a Sophomore at Lake Superior State University.
